Meet Amy

Amy Hyatt Fonseca is a seventh-generation Southern Appalachian raised on tales of ghosts, graveyards, and granny witches. Today, she writes spooky stories set in the American South about smart kids who face monsters and shatter expectations. Her work has appeared in The Bitter Southerner, The Dead Mule School of Literature, and The Wicked South YA anthology. She is also a speech-language pathologist focused on Augmentative and Alternative Communication for children and young adults with communication needs. Amy lives in Georgia with her husband, two kids, and golden retriever.
